Goals for 2025
- Read 15 books this year
- I’ve been reading more. I have some book clubs that I’m in that I really enjoy. I’ve been falling back in love with it
- I would like to read more non fiction books. I think I’m finally in a place to entertain my thirst for knowledge again
- Finish two cross stitches
- I picked it up last year and it was so fun. Very therapeutic to have a mindless task to do. I wanna try some more complicated stitches
- Take more pictures
- I want to share a bit more with the world, a real place to share what I enjoy and a chance to build community around it. I want to document my life
- Learn Yoga
- I need to stretch more. I am too young to feel the aches and pains that I have been lately. Standing for 8 hours is insane. I hate working. I also just feel that I’m stiff with my body and my movements and would like to loosen up more
- Learn Embroidery or Knitting
- Cross stitching is like embroidery but I want to improve my skills enough to start some real stitching. I got a knitting set for Christmas, might as well give it a shot
- Grow some plants
- I have a porch that needs decorating and I would like to try my hand at a little garden or something
- Cook more
- I’ve been growing tired of the same meals that I grew up with and I want to try more flavors. I’ve been trying out foods I thought I hated and have found that I like some. I like cooking. It’s fun and it’s busy and the reward is great. It’s satisfying
- I also wanna bake more too
- Make more candles
- Made some candles recently and that was really fun. A bit easier than I thought but I wanted to make more complex scents
- Write/Draw more
- I shy away from drawing because I can’t visualize a lot. It used to draw a lot more when I was younger. I want to become a better writer so I’m hoping to do some more writing exercises
- Finish Majora’s Mask
- I started playing this on my 3DS back in January and I’ve only gotten to the second mask. The game is fun but it shouldn’t take 2 years lmao
- Create a better routine
- I have a small one but I feel as though I could make more room in my day for self care and truly taking time to relax and reset. Might help me keep track of all the things I have going on tbh
- Buy a pair of rollerblades
- I’ve always loved rollerblading since I was younger. I haven’t had a pair in years but I’d love to try and be more active this year
